What is
hypnotism?
Hypnosis is a trance-like state in which a person becomes more aware and focused and is more
open to suggestion. In other words it is a psychological condition of altered state of
consciousness in which the client may be induced to show various differences in behaviour and
thinking, like heightened suggestibility and receptivity
Hypnotherapy is used in a variety of fields of medicine, particularly pre and post surgery and
dentistry. A big part of hypnosis is also the amazing work that can be done with emotional and
psychological issues. to direction

Scientists have shown that hypnosis is a natural part of human behaviour
that affects psychological, social, and physical experience. There is no magic
connected with hypnotism, and the hypnotist has no special power and can never make
the client do something he or she does not want to do

People have used hypnotic techniques since ancient times. But the practice of hypnotism has been
condemned at times because of its misuse or because of ignorance, mistaken beliefs, and overstated
claims. Today, professional organizations accept hypnotism when it is practiced by licensed
professionals.
Hypnosis has been compared to dreaming and sleepwalking. The term hypnosis comes from the Greek
word hypnosis, which means sleep. However, hypnosis is not actually related to sleep. It involves a
more active and intense mental concentration. Hypnotized people can talk, write, and walk about.
They are usually fully aware of what is said and done.
Hypnosis today has changed from traditional "you are verrrry sleepy" to conversational
hypnosis, language patterns, rapid reframing and deep trance work. In my opinion there is no other
field in today's age that is more exciting than the discover of how our brain learns and how to be
the one thinking, creating and living (not just allowing the conductor of our mind playing us
like a puppet.)
My journey with the masters has led me to study with the Ontario Hypnosis Institute. Hypnosis
Motivational Institute in California, the Omni Hypnosis Center, Igor Ledochowski, Anthony Joquim
and his team of street hypnotists, Shaun Brookhouse as well as the Neigard center in
England,
It is such a pleasure to work and study with these visionaries who refuse to believe in
limitations and are compassionate of becoming the empowered humans we have the capacity to be.
I am a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists - this association keeps strong ethic control
on its members to assure that the clients are treated with the best of knowledge and service. All
members adhere to a strict code of conduct!
