It is not unusual practice anymore to turn to alternative medicine to enhance well-being, both mentally and physical. As well we become more open minded when it comes to work with energy fields. The majority of the population nowadays is familiar with modalities like Reiki, Acupuncture and Qigong, not withstanding Reflexology that can prevent and ease common ailments.

Reflexology is a simple, noninvasive, harmless and very natural way to optimum health. By applying pressure on all parts of the feet, the organs, glands and body structure are stimulated and encouraged to heal. Reflexology has many physiological and psychological benefits like:

- relaxation,
- detoxifying the body,
- improving circulation,
- revitalizing energy,
- boosting the immune system,
- improving mental function.

Since the client has nothing else to do other than lying back and relax, they usually achieve deep states of relaxation.
Helena Hudak practices Reflexology and Massage Therapy at the Integrated Mind and Body Clinic and in her private office. She can be reached at 416.763.5013
